Paving the Road to Health Equity in the Queen City

Since 2012, Northeastern University Charlotte has hosted Local Leaders Global Impact (LLGI), a thought leadership series highlighting important topics that have a local, national, and global impact.

Join us on September 27, when we will host a panel discussion examining how health innovation can improve the lifelong health and wellness of our community’s most vulnerable populations, moving from novel ideas to large-scale adoption of new public health policies.

Low-income and marginalized populations within the Queen City region struggle with poor health over a lifetime. Our community can promote health equity and reduce health disparities by adopting policies, programs, and practices that support equitable access to health services. Our panelists will discuss the lifecycle of community health innovation, from an early vision to large-scale adoption of successful programs and government support of new care models and access points.

This event will create a meaningful and relevant conversation, sharing insights from leaders who have experience in each stage of the lifecycle of health equity innovation.
